UCP of San Joaquin, Calaveras & Amador Counties proudly continues to address the growing needs of children in our communities through our Clinical and Family Services program. Our dedicated staff is trained in areas such as education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology. Many of our team members hold specialized certifications, including sensory integration, Hanen, Lactation Educator/Consultant, and Neurodevelopmental Treatment. Through our Clinical and Family Services program, we offer a wide range of essential services.
We have a contract with the Valley Mountain Regional Center to provide services to children eligible for their Early Start program.
Our Great Beginnings grant program, generously funded by First 5 San Joaquin, offers support to children who may have developmental concerns but do not qualify for state or federally funded programs.
In 2006, with a generous grant from the S-Mart Cares Foundation and additional contributions from invaluable community partners and donors, UCP opened the Save Mart CARES Sensory Integration Clinic. This clinic creates the perfect environment to help children overcome sensory processing difficulties.
